Chemistry PhD Research Studentship

Dundalk Institute of Technology is a dynamic, world class Institute that has developed an international reputation in both basic and applied research through its Research Centres and Groups. The Electrochemistry Research Group carries out research within the fields of electrochemistry and inorganic chemistry with applications in Biomedical and Environmental Technologies.
The Group now wishes to expand its team through the recruitment of a postgraduate research student who will carry out research into the design and construction of nanostructured electrode surfaces for biomedical applications, such as the early detection of specific disease states.


Applications are invited from suitably qualified chemistry graduates who possess an Honours Degree in chemistry. The successful applicant shall receive a monthly postgraduate stipend in addition to having their postgraduate fees paid.
