Irish Cricket Star Kevin O'Brien to coach in DkIT

Fresh from the latest triumphs of the Irish Cricket Team's success in Dubai in the Twenty20 Cricket World Cup Qualifiers, Dundalk Cricket Club can announce that Kevin O'Brien will giving a coaching course with the club in the MPC Hall Dundalk Institute of Technology on April 14th from 10am to 1.30pm.

Kevin O'Brien is of course a main player in the national squad who triumphed in the recent tournament in Dubai as overall winners securing Ireland's place in the Twenty20 World Cup in Sri Lanka in September.

Kevin is also famous of course as the player who almost single handedly defeated England in Ireland's historic win during the Cricket World Cup in 2011, Kevin holds the record for the fastest century EVER scored in World Cup history.

This is an opportunity for all Cricketers young and old to be coached by a sporting Irish legend and an opportunity not to be missed.

After Dundalk Cricket Clubs triumphant 2011 in which they were unbeaten Leinster Division 11 Champions the club resume competitive action on the 28th April, with the 1st XI competing in Division 9 and the 2nd XI in Division 12.

Pre-season friendlies commence from April 15th with a home game against Civil Service CC.
