Students pitch their Business Ideas in the Whitaker Theatre - Wednesday 14th December @ 3 p.m.

This year DkIT Student Enterprise has teamed up with lecturers doing a business plan module to create the 'Business Planning Competition'. The idea of DkIT Student Enterprise running the 'Business Planning Competition' is that we want students to think beyond just completing their Business Plan Continuous Assessment and realise that their idea can be turned into a viable, commercial business.

DkIT Student Enterprise believes that this 'Business Planning Competition' is an excellent opportunity for students to develop an entrepreneurial spirit and to be involved in activities like the 'Business Planning Competition' is an excellent C.V. builder. There are also some excellent prizes to be won.

The lecturers involved this year include Mario MacBlain, Anglea Hamouda, Fiona Oster, John Morrison and Bobby Arthur. Each lecturer has put forward a representing team from their class into the 'Business Planning Competition'. Each team that is put forward will be required to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges.

DkIT Student Enterprise hopes that their classmates will come along on the day to show their support. The final will be held this Wednesday in the Whitaker Theatre starting at 3 p.m. sharp. All students within the college are welcome to attend.
