Student Enterprise Intern Opportunity

There is a two year student internship opportunity available with Dundalk Institute of Technology starting this September.
The importance of promoting and developing an Enterprise Culture on Campus is fully recognised by the Executive Management of Dundalk Institute of Technology and as a result of this ongoing commitment we will be recruiting a Cross Faculty Student Enterprise Intern (SEI) for the Academic year 2012/13 to replace an outgoing SEI.

The role of the Intern will be to actively support, promote and develop a spirit of Enterprise & Self-Employment across the student populace. The Internship will commence in September 2012 and will run until the end of May 2013 subject to satisfactory performance. As a two year internship programme it is envisaged that the SEI will be appointed for a second year from the beginning of September 2013 until the end of May 2014.

It is envisaged that the Intern will spend 18 hours per week involved in this role. He/She will be expected to combine the role with attendance on an appropriate Masters Programme offered, through scholarship, in DkIT. The successful applicant will be required to participate in appropriate training (part-time) as required. On-going support and direction will be provided by the Regional Development Centre.

The position is open to those students who either expect to graduate with a Level 8 Degree (minimum 2:1) in Summer 2012 or who have already obtained a Level 8 primary Degree (minimum 2:1). A job description and application form can be obtained from any of the current Student Enterprise Interns by sending a request via email to one of the following:
